What was I up to during the little vacation from the internet I took last month? Well, one thing is, I did some work on the soundtrack of the forthcoming documentary about the legendary ( and deeply troubled ) musician James Booker. I just got to see a rough cut of the film, and I was spellbound – even if you’re not into New Orleans music, I think you’ll have the same reaction, and I urge you to see it when it comes out.
